I've had the new Balrog statue on pre-order for months. At last, it has arrived..

and it is fucking awesome. It's ten times cooler than it is in the pics on the website. I'm not disappointed at all.

Now that I've found some batteries, here's a pic of the Balrog and some other haulage from the past couple of weeks:



I'd been planning on ordering the Minas Morgul statue that Sideshow was offering to people who bought the ROTK deluxe box set. However, when I got the set, I found that the statue had already sold out (goddammit!). They were offering the golden hall enviroment and helm's deep for a special price to make up for it..so I got the golden hall:



I'm thinking of getting helm's deep, too, if they still have any when I have the cash for it.

He's a damned cool figure. I'm glad I managed to get ahold of one, being as they're selling like hotcakes here. Now I have two Hellboys, which breaks my rule of not getting two figures of the same character.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">if I happen to see one, I'll snag it for you, sculp. the suncoast near me has been good at restocking, it's just getting to them before everyone else that's the problem.

and you would be correct about the dragons. I have a ton of dragon statues and stuffed dragons. and lots of books about dragons. and dragon jewelry.
